Ponchos, Pumpkin Patches + Bell Bottoms

fashion blogger fall

I can never get enough of fall. From the fashion to to the weather and everything in between. This weekend the Hubby and I took the afternoon to explore Half Moon Bay. My must have on our list for the day was to stop at a pumpkin patch (& yes I took happily too the photo opportunity that came along with it). We drove around the area, got lost and took so many amazing photos.

Since the weather was nice and had a cool crispness to the air, I opted to wear a light weight rust colored sweater under a sweatshirt poncho from Simply 1 Love. I swear this poncho is so versatile! I also have been obsessing over my new bell bottom jeans from Target’s Who What Wear Collection. This is one 90’s trend I can get behind (I will forever be a hippie girl at heart). Lastly I added  fringe booties and a grey structured hat to complete the look. This outfit is stylish, comfortable and completely on trend for fall 2016. For dinner I replaced the poncho with an army green coat.

Stylist Tip: Every woman needs a pair of nicely fitted bell bottom jeans! I am a huge fan of the darker wash and love the way they accentuate all body types. The bell bottom style never really goes out of style, especially if you are dressing up for a night out. If they are too long, get them tailored by your local seamstress. It costs less than $10 and will save you from looking disproportionate. (I obviously couldn’t wait and cuffed the back of mine for the shoot).

Happy Halloween loves!

XO,

Mrs. Rodriguez
